The Missing Link To Accessing Intuition

I 've taken different intuitive development courses over the years. One I took because a friend convinced me to take it and others I followed what resonated with me. Each class had similar ways of doing things for accessing intuition but over and over again it was inconsistent. At times, I could tell I was accessing my intuition instantly with a thought or would come up in my head or just had a clear feeling (clairsentience). Other times, not so much.

So, what did I find missing?
Right vibration...
Being in the right vibration to access the information. Meaning, what is your emotional state when you are trying to access information. I found that actually is important.

Alot of my spiritual journey consisted of inconsistent meditation practice due to the difficulty of keeping still and paying attention among other things associated with ADHD. I was anxious, worried, stressed, or just not in the right emotional state to even access any sort of guidance.
Some of my initial trainings did not take emphasis on the importance. Partly I think it was assumed that I already had my foundation set, such as meditation, so that was never deeply discussed or included in the courses I initially took.
To get in the right vibration was establishing at least a short meditation into my routine.
It also included a mix of breathing exercises along with the option of calling in a divine being for assistance. I've learned different breathing exercises. The most common ones included breathing in for counts and then doubling the exhale amount. For example, one way I learned was breathing in for 2 and double that when exhaling by exhaling to the count of 4. You can make it breathing in for 4 and exhaling to the count of 8. The list goes on. All were similar in assisting to raise my vibration so I could tap into my intuition.
What has been your experience that has kept you from accessing your intuition?
